Since January 2019 we have split the Christian sports club into a younger and an older group. Many children were coming and it had become unmanageable. The older ones were only interested in football, and you could tell in the overall morale. Because of the great interest, and thanks to the kindness of the V. Mináče school and the help of the Roma from Dolinka who come to help with the children, we started a new club: football. We meet every Monday at 17:30 at the ZŠ V. Mináče school, right after the Christian Sports Club. Football is for children from 14 years old.
After the first football sessions I can see that everything has lightened up, and it is very good. With the younger ones we have more room to lead them to God, and this way the older ones can hold out being obedient to the end. We ask you very much for prayers, that God would give room for spreading the Gospel and open the hearts and ears of those who come.
Prayer requests
- the conversion of the boys who come to football
- room for the Gospel and a heart for sharing
- summer football camp: should it take place?
