How it all turned out
Many thanks to Roman Studený and Andrej Skok for the packages of sweets. Together we managed to prepare and hand out packages to the children in Klenovec.
And by God's mercy, Dana came with her family from Czechia on St. Nicholas Day to the people in Hačava and Mútník and gave them many gifts. So God provided everything that was needed and made sure there was a St. Nicholas for every place we had prayed for.
The original request
Greetings. This year too we would like to serve the children as St. Nicholas and bring a little joy. Last year we chose and visited around 250 children, in cooperation with the field social workers in Hnúšťa.
We would gladly do it again this year, but we have no budget left for it. So we are turning to you for help. There is not much work in this district, and wages are much lower as well. If this touches you, and you would like to give something for St Nicholas Day in Klenovec and the area around it, or buy sweets, we will be very grateful.
