In brief

Who we are.

Christian Roma Mission teaches children from Roma settlements to read, write, count and work. It is led by an Orthodox priest, Fr. Martin Halík, with his wife Michaela. They began in Klenovec in Gemer, and since summer 2024 they have served in the parish of Markovce in eastern Slovakia.

Fr. Martin led design at Kiwi.com and still works in IT. What the mission does not receive in gifts, the family pays from its own income.
